TEKNIMED began operating in the orthopaedic surgery sector in 1990. Its activities are primarily oriented towards bio-materials and orthopaedic implants.



TEKNIMED is a French market leader in the field of bone substitutes and surgical cements, exports to over fifty countries and is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for many internationally well-known companies. 

To meet the requirements for good manufacturing practice in the medical sector, TEKNIMED has set up a quality system, certified to ISO 9001 VERSION 2000 and ISO 13485 VERSION 2003, which governs the design and manufacture of the products in the laboratory and clean rooms and their introduction on the market (CE marking).
TEKNIMED has approval from the FOOD & DRUG ADMINISTRATION (USA) for the production and marketing of its products on the American market.
