As a follow-on to the international vertebroplasty days on 28 and 29 September 2006, TEKNIMED and Professor V. Dousset's staff are organising training and teaching workshops dedicated exclusively to vertebroplasty.
 
These courses will be conducted at the neuroradiology department of the Bordeaux Pellegrin University Hospital Professor V. Dousset's staff.
 
Aimed at a wide audience, these courses will be of special interest to people who are starting out in this technique (beginners), as well as those who want to acquire advanced skills.
 
The courses are scheduled over a 2-day period and are limited to 5 persons in the interest of participants. They include both theoretical and practical content. They will be conducted at 2 centres :
 
                                                                                - CHU Bordeaux Pellegrin.
                                                                                - Institut Bergonié, Bordeaux.
 
Throughout these 2 days, and in order to facilitate on-going discussion, the applicants are managed by a team of neuroradiologists.

Day 1 :    
The first morning is dedicated to theoretical subjects :

Day 2 : 
During the 2^nd morning, participants will attend several clinical case studies.
 
Midday: Lunch break 
 
The afternoon will be spent in open discussion and a question & answer session with the speakers participating over the last 2 days.                                                                      
 
Certificates and technical and reference literature will be issued at the end of the course.
