Project Description
OPACITY+®
Low Viscosity Bone Cement for Vertebroplasty & Kyphoplasty
OPACITY+® is a low viscosity bone cement with a high amount of radiopaque agent for an optimized and safe level of visualization during vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty procedures.
OPACITY+® allows consolidation of the vertebral body with an effective pain relief for patients. Its composition has been designed to get the most suitable handling properties for surgeon’s convenience.
ADVANTAGES
- LOW VISCOSITY
- LOADED WITH HYDROXYAPATITE (HA)
- 50% RADIOPAQUE AGENT
- EASY & SAFE TO INJECT
OPACITY+® bone cement is indicated for use in palliative percutaneus cementoplasty procedures such as vertobroplasty or kyphoplasty.
COMPONENTS
Two components: PMMA polymers (powder) and MMA monomers (liquid) to be mixed extemporaneously
BIOCOMPATIBLE
Compliant to ISO 10993-1.
EASY INJECTION
The initial low viscosity facilitates mixing and filling of the injection system. OPACITY+® has a polymerisation time wich guarantees a complete secure procedure.
VISCOSITY
Thanks to its low viscosity OPACITY+® is suitable for cementoplasty procedures such as vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty.
RADIO OPACITY
(45% Zirconium dioxide & 5% Hydroxyapatite)
OPACITY+® has a high level of radiopaque agents (50%) for maximal injection visibility and control. The enhanced contrast allows continuous real time view of the flow of cement, reducing the risk of leakage.
