Project Description
F20®
Medium Viscosity Bone Cement for Vertebroplasty & Kyphoplasty
F20® is a medium viscosity, low exothermic bone cement with a high amount of radiopaque agent for an optimized and safe level of visualization during vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty procedures.
F20® allows consolidation of the vertebral body with an effective and quick pain relief for patients. Its composition has been designed to get the most suitable handling properties for surgeon’s convenience.
The brand name of the product may vary depending on the geographical area.
ADVANTAGES
- HIGH RADIO-OPACITY
- MEDIUM VISCOSITY
- LOW EXOTHERMICITY 45°C(2)
- EASY & SAFE TO INJECT
F20® bone cement is intended for use in palliative percutaneous cementoplasty procedures (such as vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty).
EASY INJECTION
The long working time of 13min30s at 20°C allows to perform a multi-level injection procedure.
VISCOSITY
The F20®’s medium viscosity allows an homogeneous bone filling and prevents leakages.
RADIO-OPACITY (45% Zirconium Dioxide)
F20® has a high content of opacifier to optimize the visibility during injection.
LOW EXOTHERMICITY(2) (less than 45°C)
F20® prevents harm of soft tissues thanks to its low exothermic reaction which is much lower than other vertobroplasty bone cements.
COMPONENTS
Two components: polymer powder and liquid monomer.
BIOCOMPATIBLE
Compliant to ISO 10993-1(3)
