Project Description
F20®
Pasty Bone Cement for vertebroplasty & kyphoplasty
F20® is a medium viscosity, low exothermic bone cement with a high amount of radiopaque agent for an optimized and safe level of visualization during vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty or osteoplasty procedures.
F20® allows consolidation of the vertebral body or metastatic bone lesion with an effective and rapid pain relief for patients. Its composition has been designed to get the most suitable handling properties for surgeon’s convenience.
ADVANTAGES
-
INJECTION TIME: up to 19 min at 20°C
-
HIGH RADIO-OPACITY
-
MEDIUM VISCOSITY
-
LOW EXOTHERMICITY 45°C
-
EASY & SAFE TO INJECT
The F20® bone cement is indicated for the fixation of painful vertebral compression fractures of the vertebral body, or metastatic extraspinal lesions.
EASY INJECTION
The long working time of 19 minutes at 20°C allows to perform a multi-level injection procedure.
VISCOSITY
The medium viscosity of F20® allows an homogeneous bone filling and prevents leakages.
RADIO-OPACITY (45% Zirconium Dioxide)
F20® has a high content of opacifier for an ideal and maximum visibility during injection.
LOW EXOTHERMICITY(2) (less than 45°C)
F20® prevents harm of soft tissues thanks to its low exothermic reaction which is much lower than other vertobroplasty bone cements.
COMPONENTS
Two components PMMA bone cement: polymer powder and liquid monomer.
BIOCOMPATIBLE
Compliant to ISO 10993-1
